Seaside Nightlife

Some visitors come to Seaside for the beach, some for the attractions. Others are here for an event. Many of them also want to know what fun things there are to do at night. They seek music, or maybe an opportunity to dance the night away and Seaside has a variety of regular events that allow them to do just that.

For the singers, every Friday night at Twisted Fish, they can live out their American Idol fantasy at Karaoke between 9 p.m. and 2 a.m. If perhaps they lose courage between the table and the stage, they have another chance to showcase their abilities on Sundays from 9 p.m. to midnight. For those who like to dance, beginning at 10 p.m. every Saturday at Twisted Fish, it’s time to shake a leg at live shows with DJ Sugar.

To enjoy dinner with live music for dessert, visit Post 99, the Seaside American Legion, where they do both on Saturdays. The Legion offers a full dinner beginning at 5 p.m., which is followed by live music from a variety of acts, usually playing Rock, Blues or Country at 8 p.m. There is dancing and a full bar at all of these fundraising events. While they don’t host every Saturday, visitors can find at least one special event at the Legion every month. They can also enjoy the Legion’s karaoke every Friday night at 8 p.m. Look for upcoming dates on our Calendar of Events. The Legion post is located at 1315 Broadway. Call them at (503) 738-5111.

Another regular nightlife opportunity can be found at McMenamin’s Gearhart Hotel and Sand Trap Pub in Gearhart, located just a few miles north of Seaside. Every Friday, beginning at 9 p.m., the Sand Trap hosts popular bands from the Northwest region and beyond. These no cover, all-ages shows are very popular entertainment.

Visitors to Seaside need not think of nightlife as something they do only at home. After a day of fun and activities at the beach, they can relax and unwind on the town, in and around Seaside. For more information about any of these regular events, visitors are always welcome to contact us at (503) 738-3097 or learn more by navigating this website.
