History & Hops is a series of local history discussions hosted by the Seaside Museum on the last Thursday of each month, September through May, at Seaside Brewing Co.

Please join us this month in welcoming the director and founder Ed Wortman of the International Police Museum(IPM) located in Rockaway. IPM opened in late 2015, using Ed’s extensive police collection as a base. IPM’s continuing goal is to improve the public perception of police operations. Through static and interactive displays, visitors gain a better understanding of law‐enforcement equipment and procedures. Ed has over 40 years of policing under his belt, serving in several states and even studying in Malaysia. He enjoys educating others and sharing his passion.
Order some food (at the counter) ‐ remember, everyone is understaffed ‐ maybe a beer (or two) and listen to Ed talk about law enforcement! There will also be a 50/50 raffle for a cash prize. Must be present to win. Tickets will be sold on site for $1.00 each.

This event is open to the public and free to attend.

Preserving Seaside’s History since 1974, the Seaside Museum and Historical Society is a non‐profit educational institution with the mission to collect, preserve and interpret materials illustrative of the history of Seaside and the surrounding area.
