Special guest author Jack Estes will be discussing his latest book A Soldier’s Son.

Jack Estes is A United States Marine Corps veteran who served in Vietnam in 1968-69, the bloodiest years of the long war. His current book is a follow-up to his critically acclaimed memoir, Field of Innocence, which recounts his experiences in Vietnam. He is also the founder of Fallen Warriors Foundation, and as part of his work has delivered hundreds of thousands of dollars of medical and educational goods to the poorest Vietnam villages. He states that the purpose of his organization is to “carry humanitarian goods instead of a machine gun.”
