Don’t miss the 5th year anniversary celebration, DachSand 2024, hosted by Doxies of PNW Club. A weekend packed with weenie fun. This is Doxies of PNW’s biggest annual fundraiser. Come and join the fun with over 300 of dachshunds and meet lots of great people. There will be a silent auction, raffle baskets, 50/50 raffle, dachshund items, merchandise table, doxie races, costume contest and more.
FRIDAY 09.06
~ 3pm to 6pm – Ruby’s for 5th year anniversary kickoff party 🥳 we will have dog activities, raffle baskets, treats (human & ween) and also limited number of goodie bags! The restaurant will be closed & reserved just for our party.
~ 7:30pm – Bonfire on the beach, south of the roundabout just 30ft or so away from the ramps, just look for weenies and fire lol. We will supply hot dog stuff, smores stuff & sticks. Bring whatever else you want to. Bring your own drinks (alcohol is allowed, no glass ), a blanket, chairs, etc to sit and hangout. We plan to be out there at least 2-4 hrs so come anytime, if the fires still burning come on down 😁
SATURDAY 09.07
~ 12pm – Group photo (meet in the sand across from the Aquarium)
~ 12:30pm – DachSand 2024, meet in the sand across from the Aquarium. There will be a merch table, sign in books, raffle baskets, silent auction, 50/50 raffle, random giveaways, costume contest and weener races.
~ 1:30pm – Last call for raffles/auction and gather up for the drawings
~ 2pm – All drawings
~ 3pm – 5pm – Competitions!! Races (limited to 50) and costume contests on the beach! Registration will be in online & in person, and until 1:30pm Saturday.
~ 6pm – Gather up all your doxies and head downtown. Walk, mingle, shop and eat. Lets show off those weeners!!
(If there are other events going on downtown please respect them and stay CLEAR of their area. Stay on the sidewalks DO NOT USE THE STREET if it is closed for their event)
*** This is not a parade just head down and start walk around & hang out if you want!
SUNDAY 09.08
~ 9am – Beach walk hosted by Adventurewiener Club, meet at the ramps to the south of the roundabout.
~ 11am – Tour the Aquarium, free tray of fish to feed the seals per doxie again this year!
