The Seaside First Saturday Art Walk is a free event that takes place between Holladay Drive and Broadway Street in the Historic Gilbert District of downtown Seaside.
#1. TigerLily Gallery, 613 Broadway St.
Featuring Michelle Rassp, a contemporary artist with a BA in Biological Illustration from Cal State and a MA is Education from Pepperdine. Her work shows art influences from Picasso, Echer and Dali in the use of abstract surrealism, pen with ink, and watercolor.
#2. Pizza a’fetta, 611 Broadway St.
Featuring hand painted wall murals by Oregon artist Donny Masterson, who has a special interest in photography and film. One of the top boutique inns on the Oregon Coast, the Stephanie Inn, has rooms that feature artwork from Masterson.
#3. SunRose Gallery, 606 Broadway St.
Featured artists for November are sand dollar mosaic artist and painter Mimi Cernyar Fox, stained glass mosaic artist Anna Meyrick and upcycle mixed media artist Patty Thurlby.
#4. Pacific Heirloom Art and Collectables, 608 Broadway St
Featuring a collection of lighthouses in all mediums such as clay, stone, resin, and ceramic. Many depict the 11 ones sighted along the coast of Oregon which are still standing as a tribute to maritime history of years gone by. To name a few: Cape Blanco, Cape Arago, Umpqua River, Heceta, Yaquina Bay, Yaquina Head, Cape Meares, and, of course, the Tillamook Lighthouse in Seaside.
#5. Fairweather House and Gallery, 612 Broadway St.
Opening reception for WILD BEAUTY from NW artists Mike Brown, Karen Doyle, Agnes Field, Dorota Haber-Leligh, Lee Munsell, Ron Nicolaides, Neal Maine, and Vanessa K. Stokes. Introducing wildlife artist Leopoldine Brew with art that was honored with an award representing the United State in the 2020 International Recognition Arts Competition. The strength of the exhibition lies in the detailed and multivariate perspectives each artist brings showing a different viewpoint to see wild beauty.
#6. The Whet Spot, 12 N. Holladay Dr.
Ongoing exhibit by Billy Lutz, local artist, musician, and philosopher. Whet Spot offers a relaxed, friendly, adults-only atmosphere where patrons can enjoy craft beers, ciders, and wines while viewing local art.
#7. Starry Night Inn and Art Hotel, 811 1st Ave.
Featuring art from Oregon artists in each room of a Victorian villa. For November the Inn is featuring Raven Lloyd’s new constellation art piece. In addition, offering her hand painted coasters can be mounted and hung as art, as well.
