Seaside’s First Saturday Art Walk is a free event that takes place between Holladay Drive and Broadway Street in the Historic Gilbert District of downtown Seaside.

Just how fond are artists of a particular color will be demonstrated at the opening reception of INTO THE BLUE, with twelve selected NW artists and more than 40 new original paintings, art glass, and semi-precious jewelry. Featuring new work by Toni Avery, Nick Brakel, Victoria Brooks, Diane Copenhaver, Karen Doyle, Bob Heath, Bob Knoll, Lieta Gratteri, JoAnn Pari-Meuller, Jan Rimerman, Lisa Wiser, and Mary Truhler.

Paul Brent will offer a Seaside Painting LIVE event throughout the evening and Neal Maine will present an ocean-related habitat lecture at 6:pm.

Pacific Heirloom Art and Collectables, 608 Broadway St.

Featuring antique model ships that encase maritime history and that show intricate details of the craft building from wood and tin plate kits. Ship modeling experienced a boom in the late 1920s. Early models comprised a combination of wooden hulls and cast lead for anchors, deadeyes, and rigging blocks.

SunRose Gallery, 606 Broadway St.

Featuring new credit card mosaics from Mari Cardinal Walker, quilted paintings by Ronni Harris, and introducing new artisan jeweler Jenny Coakley.

TigerLily Gallery, 613 Broadway St.

Featuring Washington-based artist Susan Record, who paints iconic bridges in vivid acrylic colors.

The Whet Spot, 12 N. Holladay Dr.

Seaside’s taproom featuring all the local Northwest named beers, wines, ciders, as well as, an ever-changing gallery display of local abstract and whimsical art. HIghlighting new artists each month.

Starry Night Inn and Art Hotel, 811 1st Ave.

With each room in the hotel, including the lobby, dining room, and walls featuring original art and prints from a curated list of Portland, Oregon artists.
