Seaside’s First Saturday Art Walk is a free event that takes place between Holladay Drive and Broadway Street in the Historic Gilbert District of downtown Seaside.
SunRose Gallery, 606 Broadway St.
Featuring new quilted paintings by Ronni Harris, beaded shell necklaces by newcomer Jenny Coakley, broken china jewelry by SunRose owner/artist Cathy Tippin, bringing back live music with David Crabtree and Ray Coffey.
Pacific Heirloom Art and Collectables, 608 Broadway St.
Encore show featuring antique model ships that encase maritime history and that show intricate details of the craft building from wood and tin plate kits. Ship modeling experienced a boom in the late 1920s. Early models comprised a combination of wooden hulls and cast lead for anchors, deadeyes, and rigging blocks.
Fairweather House and Gallery, 612 Broadway St.
Opening exhibition for PLACE-BASED that involves a focus on the importance and uniqueness of place. Featuring Northwest artists Paul Brent, Victoria Brooks, Barbara Bacon Folawn, Pam Haunschild, Bev Drew Kindley, Phil Juttlestad, Lee Munsell, Jan Shield, and Sharon Kathleen Johnson. Artist talks at 5:30 pm and habitat lecture by naturalist Neal Maine at 6:00 pm.
TigerLily Gallery, 613 Broadway St.
Featuring Tara A. Jennings, from Woodinville, Wa, an artist that uses vibrant colors, complex patterns, and bold textures combined with classic influences of the Old and New worlds. She has developed a career spanning graphic design, marketing, and art education.
The Whet Spot, 12 N. Holladay Dr.
Seaside’s taproom featuring all the local Northwest named beers, wines, ciders, as well as, an ever-changing gallery display of local abstract and whimsical art. Highlighting new artists each month.
Starry Night Inn and Art Hotel, 811 1st Ave.
With each room in the hotel, including the lobby, dining room, and walls featuring original art and prints from a curated list of Portland, Oregon artists.
