Seaside’s First Saturday Art Walk is a free event that takes place between Holladay Drive and Broadway Street in the Historic Gilbert District of downtown Seaside.
The Whet Spot, 12 Holladay Drive.
This venue features the captivating world of abstract art. Seaside artist Kandy Schwartz uses vibrant acrylic paint to depict abstract objects. Her latest colorful creations ignite your imagination and awaken your wonder about being at the beach.
Fairweather House and Gallery, 612 Broadway St.
Opening reception for OFF THE BEATEN PATH, featuring abstract painter Vicki Baker, watercolorist Paul Bent, fresco artist Agnes Field, pastel artist Barbara Bacon Folawn, glass artist Jan Young Park, and ceramicist Hui-Yong Kim. The exhibition highlights keeping your eyes open for unusual moments and is a metaphor for independent thought, for trying things others haven’t.

Featuring Scott C. Johnson’s landscape studies rooted in plein air painting. A watercolorist, Scott has developed the Japanese tradition’s soft washes and the Persian miniatures’ refined linework. Scott’s work reflects the changing moods and impending weather of the Pacific NW. Scott currently resides in Canon Beach, Oregon.

Featuring handmade gifts by local artists and makers. Offering a creative studio that allows customers to use their photos or designs and turn them into keepsake items like puzzles. Besides presenting craft and sip nights and branching out to craft supplies and jewelry-making kits.
