Lunch in the Loft with Linda B. Myers at Beach Books in Seaside. Her novel Fog Coast Runaway tells a story of a young girl who vanishes on the North Oregon Coast. Set during much the same time period as Karl Marlantes’ Deep River, Adelia Wright is armed only with survival skills learned from a Clatsop native and immigrant Finnish settlers. Her perilous journey takes her to Seaside, Oregon where she works in the scullery of a posh hotel.
Cost: $25 includes a catered lunch from Dough Dough Bakery and a signed copy of Fog Coast Runaway
