$10Nehalem Bay Crab Derby

Come crabbing at the Jetty Fishery on the beautiful Nehalem Bay for the annual Crab Derby. That’s right, no shellfish license is required during Oregon’s Free Fishing Weekend on June 4 and 5, 2016. The cost to participate is $10 per ticket and that gives you the chance to get one of the 26 tagged commercial-sized crabs that the Jetty Fishery releases into the bay Saturday morning.
This is a benefit for the Wildlife Center of the North Coast and the Rockaway Beach Lions Club. Not only will you be helping these two organizations you will also be in it to win prizes- the biggest being $1,000 cash. This event is fun for the whole family including games and activities for kids. Crabs will be dropped in the bay at 9:00am.
