Sgt. Jason Goodding Memorial

The public is invited to attend a procession and memorial service for Sergeant Jason Goodding on Friday, February 12, 2016 at 1:00pm. Sgt. Goodding was a 13-year Seaside police veteran who was killed in the line of duty on Friday, February 5, 2016. The memorial will take place at the Seaside Civic and Convention Center. Additional venues will have a simulcast of the event if the convention center reaches capacity. More details will be posted as they become available.
The service will be preceded by a law enforcement procession that will wind through the streets of Seaside ending at the convention center. The procession is scheduled to begin Friday, February 12, 2106, at 10:45am. The public will not be allowed to ride in the procession, but is encouraged to stand along the route (see map posted below) to show their support for Sgt. Goodding’s family, who will be riding in the procession.
