Come to Lewis and Clark National Park for the second-annual Sunday in the Park with Art. Starting at the Fort Clatsop Visitor Center Picnic Area, event goers are invited to choose between a short 1.5 mile hike near the visitor center, or a full walk with a volunteer guide on the Kwis Kwis 3 mile loop, which will be transformed into a vibrant art space. Along the path, art installations, dancers, musicians, and other performers will greet hikers in beautiful and unexpected ways. Participants will be led onto the trial every 15 minutes, to allow moments of rest for the performers. The last group will be let in at 4pm, as it takes an hour or more to walk the entire trail.

This event also helps commemorate the National Park Service centennial. National Park sites across the country, including Lewis and Clark National Historical Park, are pleased to collaborate with artists to engage connect park goers to their national parks.

Sunday in the Park with Art will take place rain or shine and is free with admission to the park, payable at the Fort Clatsop Visitor Center or with an annual pass. Well behaved dogs are welcome on leashes. Click here for more information or call the Lewis and Clark National Park at (503) 861-2471.
